Caritas of Waco together with Tammee and Dwayne of Big 95-KBGO Radio, is excited to announce the 12th Annual Greater Bohemian Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Battle Lake Golf Course. The “GBO” is perhaps the most unique golf tournament in the Central Texas area—but undoubtedly, it will be the most enjoyable event you will play this year!
This four-person scramble will challenge your golfing skills—such as driving from a toilet and putting with a pool cue!! Tournament winners will again receive the coveted plaid jackets and other wonderful golf-related prizes. Other prizes are awarded for hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive. Breakfast and lunch are included, and the event will feature the Hooter’s girls as celebrity putters!!
Proceeds from the GBO will go to support Caritas, which provides emergency assistance such as food, clothing, household items and prescriptions to people in need. A United Way agency, Caritas has been serving the Waco-McLennan County area for over 42 years.
