Your cost for participation is based upon the weight of items you obtain. Currently the cost is $0.18 per pound.
What can we do with this merchandise?
The items you receive from this program cannot be sold, auctioned off, used in fundraisers, or any other moneymaking endeavors. The items must be provided to your clients or recipients free of charge.
How can we participate?
We have enclosed an application packet, along with a copy of the rules and regulations. The application form must be signed by the organization’s director, or authorized congregational leader. Once the information is provided, we will discuss with you the process to participate in this program.
If you have any questions, please call Carolyn Hurst at 254-753-4593. This program can provide your agency / congregation with much needed items at a fraction of the cost if purchased at a retail store. These items include primarily, paper products, personal hygiene items, and household goods.
In June, 2004, Caritas began a partnership with the Waco Wal-Mart Return Center to distribute returned merchandise to nonprofit social service agencies and organizations.
