Thrift Stores

Besides the Emergency Assistance program, Caritas has two self-sustaining thrift stores: one in Bellmead and the other on Franklin Avenue in the heart of downtown Waco.

Revenue (after expenses) from the thrift stores goes to support Caritas Emergency Assistance programs.

Both stores rely heavily on donations. Any items of acceptable quality that are no longer being used are welcome at either of the thrift store locations, the administrative office, or by calling for pick-up at 753-4593 for heavier items.

Caritas thrift stores are open to the public for purchase of clothing, household items, various appliances, furniture and other miscellaneous goods. At either location, for convenience, the public can also drop off donated can goods and other non-perishable food items. Both credit and debit cards are now accepted for ease of shopping.
