For Janie, Caritas was never just a job – it became a calling.
She first walked through our doors more than a decade ago as a receptionist, looking for her next step after a season of uncertainty. What she found was purpose. Over the years, Janie has served our community in nearly every role within client services, from intake and intensive case management to leadership, and today she serves as our Director of Programs.
When Susanna first came to Caritas, she wasn’t applying for a job.
She was rebuilding her life.
What she didn’t expect was that Caritas would see something in her.
Today, Susanna serves as a Community Support Specialist, helping neighbors navigate utilities, federal benefits, and other critical resources.
