Caritas serves as the distribution center for gifts-in-kind products distributed to local, statewide, and out-of-state charities through the Walmart Return Center located in Waco. Caritas receives, warehouses, and distributes much needed paper products and household items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, feminine hygiene care, soap, shampoo, diapers, and various cleaning products, to charitable organizations and other food pantries serving people in need. Last year, 3,297 charitable organizations distributed over $7 million worth of goods to their clients.

Charitable organizations receiving items from the Caritas Gifts-In-Kind program are asked to defray Caritas’ costs through a very modest and reasonable handling fee. Products are then distributed to people being served by the charitable organization. Hundreds of thousands of people have benefited from our Gifts-In-Kind program and Caritas is extremely grateful to have this partnership with the Walmart Return Center.
