Caritas helps families, individuals, and veterans in need through emergency services and case management programs.
Make A Donation
Caritas is able to provide hope to those in need, due to the generosity of community partners and donors like you. Before the pandemic, 26% of Waco families were living in poverty and unable to meet basic needs. Now, during this unprecedented time, more families than ever before, are needing assistance. Your support helps us provide people with not only hope, but food and other emergency services, and the case management resources needed to help them begin their journey out of poverty. Thank you for donating today to support our mission.

Donate food to help feed families this holiday season!

The largest one-day food drive in Central Texas is held the Friday before Thanksgiving and is sponsored by H-E-B, KWTX, and Scouting America – Longhorn Council.

Caritas of Waco is proud to be one of the Central Texas food pantries to receive food and monetary donations, in addition to:

Acts Storehouse
Carver Park Baptist Church
Church of the Open Door
Crestview Church of Christ
Family of Faith Worship Center
Robinson Food Pantry
Shepherd’s Heart
Shepherd’s Heart of Lorena
The Salvation Army – Waco

Preferred items:
Canned Meats, Tuna, Chili, Stew, Chicken, Canned Vegetables, Sugar, Corn Meal, Pasta, Pasta Sauce, Cereals, Baby Food, Peanut Butter, Dry Beans, Flour and Rice.

Food For Families Chairperson’s Cup Competition:

Register for the Chairperson’s Cup Competition against other businesses, schools, churches, families, or groups (in your category and group size) to collect the most pounds of food for the Food for Families drive. To register, click here.

Complete the form and send to aowen@caritas-waco.org by November 14th.
