Caritas is able to provide hope to those in need, due to the generosity of community partners and donors like you. Before the pandemic, 26% of Waco families were living in poverty and unable to meet basic needs. Now, during this unprecedented time, more families than ever before, are needing assistance. Your support helps us provide people with not only hope, but food and other emergency services, and the case management resources needed to help them begin their journey out of poverty. Mahjong Social

Join Caritas of Waco in its new spring fundraiser, the Mahjong Social!

The Mahjong Social invites both seasoned mahjong players and newcomers alike to enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon of play, learning, and connection. This debut event will feature a beginner-friendly workshop alongside open play, complemented by light bites, beverages, raffle prizes, and more.

Guests may choose to participate in open play or attend the beginner workshop led by Mama Bear Mahjong, making the event accessible and enjoyable for all experience levels.

All proceeds directly support the mission and operations of Caritas of Waco.

*Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
